SC Metrics Overview
Supply Chain Metrics for performance measurement development is one of the key drivers to monitor and control the adherence on the road for executing the company’s strategy. Simply selecting standard measures from a long list of possible measures is not effective.
Although the main goal is in measuring strategic performance, they can also help with analysis of the gap between actual and targeted performance, as well as with measurement of organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency. Meaningful and strong metric provide insight into whether strategies are working, operations are running according to plan or products and services are delivered effectively.
Supply Chain Metrics focus employees' attention on what matters most to the company’s success and allow for measurement of accomplishments in improving the supply chain performance.
In this course we will focus on how we can create visibility of performance within supply chain processes.
