Course description

It is a global marketplace and the Inventory Management and Control Workshop Series provides participants with an operational knowledge and understanding of inventory management principles and techniques. Among the topics presented are inventory management fundamentals, ordering techniques, replenishment policies, purchasing management, and inventory performance measurement. Basic methods of planning and controlling inventory in manufacturing, institutional, distribution, and retail environments are covered.

Course content

The Inventory Management and Control Workshop Series consists of five modules which are presented in three days.

The workshop cover the following subjects:

  1. Basics of Inventory Management
  2. Cycle Counting
  3. Physical Inventory
  4. Material Requirements Planning and Bills of Material
  5. Distribution Inventory Management

Participants will learn to cope with all aspects of inventory and therefore these workshops are ideal for anyone who has to deal with inventory in all its forms.

The Inventory Management and Control Workshop Series is offered as in-company training. Training material includes:

This package can be extended with additional materials, on request and at additional cost. We only use original materials.

Course Delivery

The program covers seven workshop sessions distributed over three days. Per session, assignments are given as homework.
